*BIKE BLENDER SKILLSHARE - SUNDAY 3/18 1-5pm
This just in... you don't need electricity to make a smoothy!  We are
meeting up at the Wheelhouse (3280 6th ave.) on Sunday March 18 to make a
bike blender, or two or three.  WE NEED OLD BLENDERS! Get in touch via
email to donate a blender, and the skillshare is open to anyone who
wants to learn or share.
------------------------
*ORIENTATION FOR NEW VOLUNTEERS - SATURDAY 3/31  1-3PM
We are looking for new volunteers. If YOU want to help us this coming
season, or are already volunteering, but don't know the ropes, then this
is for you. You don't need bike skills, but you do need a desire to
learn and to build a better world by helping others.  RSVPs
appreciated.

*CARGO BIKE/TRAILER SKILLSHARES - SUNDAYS DATES TBA
We are going to host a series of planning and building days for DIY
trailers and cargobikes. This is your chance to turn that idea in your
notebook into a real-life pedal-powered hauler.  Stay tuned to the
website or facebook for details as they develop.
-----------------------
*FUNDRAISER SAVE-THE-DATE  - SATURDAY 5/19
Our annual fundraiser is again at the Sanctuary for Independent Media.
There will be a delicious meal, a raffle of cool stuff, a cake auction,
and a program of great movies.  Admission is $20 and the funds we raise
will help us keep doin what we do.  TBR is a volunteer collective, and
we rely on our community of support - YOU.
------------------------
*BIKE VALET AT THE SUMMER FARMERS MARKET - STARTING IN JUNE
Courtesy of TightKnit, beginning in June we will be having a bike valet booth at
the Troy Farmers Market on River St.  We will also do on the spot
tune-ups by donation, and deliveries via cargo bike. Who cares about car
parking?! Ride your bike, and park it with us!
------------------------
*KICKSTART FOODCYCLE
Keep your internet eyes open for a joint kickstarter project comin' up soon with Collard
City Growers.  Together we are launching a campaign to begin a North
Troy household compost collection enterprise which hires local youth to
pickup and deliver compost to the CCG compost pile.  Of course, this
will be done by bike! In fact TBR will build custom cargo bikes and
trailers just for this project, and CCG will be buying a vacant lot to
support the project.  You will learn more when we finish the Kickstarter
entry, so please help us spread the word to people all across the world
who might support it.
